Michelsen & Thompson Medal Pre-Count Winners confirmed
Published on:
09 September 2025

The BFNL Has announced all the winners of the Best & Fairest Awards, except the Michelsen Medal & Betty Thompson Medal.

The vote counts for each award were broadcast live on Bendigo's Fresh FM on Monday 8 September.

It was fantastic to acknowledge and recognise those that stood above everyone else in their competitions and that recognition will continue into Sunday’s annual Michelsen & Thompson Medal Ceremony where each winner will presented with their awards.

To conclude our awards season, tomorrow evening we will award and celebrate all 2024 medal winners at The Bendigo Club, before counting and presenting the most prestigious individual awards in the BFNL – the Betty Thompson Medal (A-Grade netball), and Michelsen Medal (Seniors Football).
