Our superstar 15&U and 17&U netball rep teams have both claimed victory at the 2026 Netball Victoria Northern Association Championships at Echuca.
The day included a marathon 9-match round robin tournament plus a Semi-Final and Final that pushed the endurance and determinations of both teams.
Led by the return of Captain, Rachael Flood, the 17 & Under team went one better than their 2025 campaign, losing one match in the round robin phase before a nail-biting match in the Semi-Final against Central Murray.
After a ding dong battle, the team took the win by 1-goal and eventually went on to win the final 19-12 over the Wimmera FNL.
The BFNL's inaugural 15 & Under side showed plenty of class finishing the preliminary rounds in second position after a loss to Sunraysia in Round 7.
Lead by Head Coach, Steph Freemantle the squad won convincingly in their semi-final over Central Murray FNL before a dominating victory over Wimmera FNL 18-11 in the Final.
Both teams now head to the Association Championship Finals in Parkville this Sunday 21 June where they'll again compete in a round robin format against the best leagues and associations from across the state.
