Congratulations to COBY PERRY of the Maryborough Football Netball Club who is our weekly GYG Player of the Round, brought to you by Premier Data 📈
Whist it was another difficult day at the office facing unprecedented player unavailability, it would be negligent of us not to recognise Perry as the highest ranked player from Round 8 across the entire league.
With his team-first attitude, the leader of the young and inexperienced group has been colossal this season, his 46 disposals was the 5th occasion past 34 touches this year, including 41 (R4), 42 (R7), and the season high 46 in R8.
Coby would be embarrassed by this attention, but the incredibly loyal Magpie who has now played nearly 150 games for Maryborough (plus another 70 juniors' games) is one of the most highly respected and talented players across the BFNL.
Such has been the individual brilliance of Perry in season 2024, his 6 games played have netted ranking points totals of 110, 157, 114, 160, 157, and a massive 219-point R8 game for a season average of almost 153.
Perry ranks elite in most categories, being top 10 in the BFNL across the 2024 season for disposals, clearances, ranking points, & contested possessions.
