A lead from the front emphatic performance from the BFNL's Co-Captain and Sandhurst Football Netball Club gun, Lachlan Tardrew has him forging a resume up there with the greats of the BFNL.
Tardy, was always in the right position, helping him to accrue 45 touches in the extra time thriller with 28 of those noted as contested. On top of that, Lachie managed to score 14 clearances and be involved with 9 of the BFNL's scoring chains.
As is customary with our Senior Interleague matches, the Derrick Filo Medal is awarded to the best Bendigo FNL player and this was an easy choice with Tardy setting the standard in one of the best games of community football you'll see.
