LA TROBE UNIVERSITY NETBALLER SPOTLIGHT - Round 7

Thanks to our new partners at La Trobe University, Bendigo & La Trobe Sport, we are highlighting a netballer each week who is the unsung hero of their club! 
Our netballer of the week for Round 7 is RACHELLE MCLEAN from Castlemaine Football Netball Club 
Rachelle joined the Magpies in 2014 as a member of their Development squads before playing some B Reserve games the next year. In 2025, Rachelle has been named as the captain of the Castlemaine A Reserve team 
Rachelle has stuck by the club through its ups and downs on the netball court and always works hard the while playing in her favourite centre position 
CFNC have a very young netball squad and Rachelle is a fantastic leader to guide the up and coming Magpies players each week at training and on match day 
La Trobe Sport has launched a dedicated Reformer Pilates Studio – featuring 10 premium reformer beds designed to support movement, strength, and recovery in a bright, welcoming environment 
Thanks to La Trobe Sport, the netballer of the week will receive a voucher to be used at the new Reformer Pilates Studio
