UPDATE - Easing of Regional Victorian restrictions
The current lockdown restrictions will be lifted in regional Victoria, effective of midnight on Thursday 9th September.
From this time, community sport will be permitted for outdoor training only, with only the minimum number required to train. This means that unfortunately NO BFNL finals matches will be scheduled this weekend, and the Board now plan to meet and discuss the overall impact of this announcement once further clarity is received in the coming days.
NO club training should occur until the updated protocols from AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria are provided.
Both sports will update their protocols ASAP and we will send them to clubs once received.
We are also currently working in conjunction with AFL Central Victoria, AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria to clearly determine the actual duration that these current regional restriction settings will remain in place, and the impact this may have on any possible return to competition.
