Brodie Martin has accepted the key role of Under 18 Football Coach for the 2019 season. Brodie has had considerable coaching experience at Junior and Senior Level and will bring enthusiasm and knowledge to this important role.
We are looking forward to a renewed group in 2019, with so many good players transitioning to this age group.
Brodie is the current assistant Coach for Newstead Seniors and is well known by our playing group and the Castlemaine football community.
A bit about Brodie:
Coached Under 17.5 and Under 15 at Campbells Creek, playing off in the 2016 Grand Final School football coach - Campbells Creek Primary School 2014-16 Brodie was attracted to coaching after chronic shoulder injuries that lead to a shoulder reconstruction. Brodie is a meticulous planner and spends a lot of time preparing training drills and game plans Motivation for coaching is to help improve the skills and confidence of all players in the group Brodie is exactly the type of person and Coach we wanted to attract to our U/18 group and we are therefore very excited to make this announcement.
