400 for Skinner
In a feat rarely seen in football, local Maryborough FNC legend Cameron Skinner will this weekend pull the boots on for the club an incredible 400th time!
The loyal Skinner has been part of the furniture at the club since 1995 and has clocked up over 25 years of service to the club. Receiving Bendigo FNL Life Membership in 2015, Skinner has amassed a massive 320 senior football and 79 reserves matches kicking 87 goals along the journey leading into Round 9 action
With out disclosing his age, he recently proved he still has the ability to match it with the best youngsters in the League by playing senior football this season.
Cam is a currently an Under 13 AFL Central Vic Junior Academy coach, so in his spare time is giving back to the game by playing a significant role in ensuring junior development and future sustainability of football in the region.
Congratulations to Cam and his family in reaching this significant achievement and we hope that 400 is not the last milestone he reaches!
